Our Food, Our Right takes you on a journey through many of the current globalized food systems failures, and showcases creative solutions that communities worldwide are designing to regain control over their food and the health of their bodies and neighbors. Our Food, Our Right came into being thanks to the hard work of CAGJ’s volunteers, and Community Supported Publishing – over 200 individuals and organizations sponsored the publication. The book takes you from farm to table through the intersection of politics, culture and social justice. Speakers will discuss real examples of how food movements are moving away from the old paradigm of exploitation and moving towards a food system that is more just for consumers, farmers, food workers and communities as a whole. Be inspired to take back your food system!
